I had this housemate of mine who I believed was one of the toughest idiots in the globe. Amos was his name and he was a physical manifestation of idiocy. Mostly, he would sit in his room and smoke pot, while rocking with monotonous reggae music at full force and tearing the house apart. There was this one time when we had to cut off the electricity flow into his room from the main circuit just to get some rest. And since he was stupid, he did not even bother checking out why the electric power is out. He earned money by selling drugs and spent his time on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley where all his punk friends gather doing, more or less, nothing all day long.

One more stupid thing I saw him do was to buy an earn-money-online kit off the internet. This kit made promise to him to earn money online with very few efforts by selling stuff he already had. It was advertised as if all he had to do was relax and sit down and watch the cash roll in. But, of course, the reality was even harsher.

Think about it. How in the world will you earn money online by selling crappy hand-dipped incense? Was he really thinking that he was procuring a service or product that one looks for, like he was the only one selling substandard merchandise and services? You cannot even make dough selling incense in a person. It is not even like he had an accommodating website. He just bought a stock website out of a box and thought that was all it took to earn money online.

It is much simpler than that to earn money online. We have tried to explain the case to him but he would just give us that irritated look that was glued to his face. It seemed like he was blind to the application of economic laws or to the concept that many had already done what he tries to do. We quickly lost patience and gave up on him and let him go about stumbling on a hole he created. Definitely, he cannot make money online.
